Soft Offerings

These ink drawings began after my first experience meditating. While this work is two-dimensional, I relate to it more as sculpture. Instead of the third dimension existing in space though, it inhabits the fourth dimension, time. I’m interested in the liminal space between abstraction and form. I grow this work more than draw it, each mark building on the previous ones. I observe and guide the pattern, letting it also guide me.
