I started making this work without context. It is the early days of internet. I have no cell phone and use pay phones to call my friends’ cell phones. I frequent thrift shops and buy all the blankets women like my grandmother made and I sew them together into giant amorphous pieces and padded rooms. Soft psychedelic places to feel overwhelmed.
