Three Dimensional Blanket

I’m still working on this, trying to figure out the best way to support it. I’m not really into it hanging. Maybe wooden stands?

wooden stands sound like they’d work, that way you’d still have the draped hollow look like when they’re hanging. Or you could just lower the ceiling so you wouldn’t notice they were hanging so much (because that is reasonable, right?).

Lowering the ceiling sounds difficult but maybe raising the floor? Like with giant piles of dirty clothes. Hmm…I was just joking but now I like that idea. A giant pile of blankets and whatnot.

I like the raised floor idea too, for the ceiling I was thinking like what you did in your other installations. The dirty clothes would kind of be funny…

my first visit to your site. your colors remind me of kaffe fassett.
Try armature wire for a self supporting structure.
love the colors…love your work.
